- We share updates of the shipping progress as we receive them, from leaving Mongolia to reaching California and everything in between, to aid in planning your pick-up logistics.
- We usually do not have the exact date and time for the container’s arrival in Flagstaff until 3-10 days before. Once the container reaches the California coast, the rest of the process happens quickly.
- Below are some photos of 5 and 6-wall yurts loaded for transport.
- There is one photo of a 6-wall yurt to be loaded without the door and no windows
- Please see the photo above for how the yurts are packaged. They are loose or hand-packed. They are not boxed in crates or on pallets.
- For short distances (in the Southwest) yurts can be delivered beyond Flagstaff to your door within 35 days of their arrival in Flagstaff. This will be roughly $4.00 per mile one-way. Costs can vary depending on location and the number of yurts being delivered.
- For longer distances, we work with a freight company to deliver yurts to the closest freight terminal to you. Contact us for price quotes.
- We can ship by air to anywhere in the world.
- Additional shipping costs start at $5,000 + land transportation and import fees and taxes.
- Contact us today if you are interested in air freight.
Please Note:
- Delivery is 12-16 weeks from the date the order was placed.
- This is air freight and must be shipped to an air freight terminal.
- Because it is a smaller shipping space, the crown/roof of the yurt comes in two parts that are screwed together.
- Some countries’ import rules and regulations could make this option impossible.
- We can arrange shipping from Mongolia to the country’s port of entry only.
- The customer is responsible for all other expenses and arrangements, including customs fees, duties, taxes, and VAT required for customs’ clearance, working with a local freight forwarding broker to make arrangements for pick-up or for further transportation to your final location.
- If you are shipping by air to the United States, we can help you with the local broker arrangements.
